18 Months

Avery at 18 months
you are full of energy.

you still give the "mean look"  which has momma written all over it.
you love all of Connor's hotwheels and trains, you line them up just so and then Connor comes along and crashes them. I see fun times happening between you too, hopefully sooner than later.
you are a perfect mix between a momma's and da's boy,which is just perfect for me and your da!
you love animals but have no idea what "be gentle" means.
you love to climb.

Life with three is harder than I ever imagined. I've had more sleepness nights since you rocked our world than I ever did with the Laynee and Connor combined. I'm so glad you are apart of our family but so glad you are our last. We love you boo boo!

Built to Amaze!

This past saturday night we took oldest two kids to their first circus in birmingham! To say  they were amazed would be an under statement! Both are still taking about everything they saw! Connor ask every night how long til we can go again! Here are a few pictures from our night at the circus!

As you can see the elephants were the stars of the show...

Laynee was amazed by the tiger show! I was alittle on the scared side for the only guy in the cage!

Be still my baby lovin' heart.

We welcomed with lovin' arms our newest addition to our family on Dec. 11th. Yes, that's right I finally have a niece! Altough life happens and time flies by I still try and see or keep her as often as I can. She is such a sweet girl. Its been interesting seeing how Avery acts with a baby in the house. He loves on her, pats her back and his favorite thing is her bottle! He loves to try and give her the bottle, he hasn't tried at all to take it himself. I'm sure the older she gets the closer they will become.

On the day she was born, I worked all day, went to Connor's christmas party and then headed to Brookwood to see her. It was late when I got home but well worth it! I was the only visitor and I got to see her get her first bath!

Lauren's two big brothers are smitten with her as well, Cole alittle more than Levi. This is the grin she gives almost everytime her brother Cole holds her. The sweetest!

The end of 2012

The past few months in pictures. Afterall pictures speak a thousand words!

Yesterday was perfect!

**Pre written way back in August!

Not because of the weather, or the fact that the food had to be brought in from outside because it was to hot. Or because we sweated our butts off. But because our two boys got to spend time with friends, play on waterslides, eat cupcakes (or smash cakes), model birthday gifts (and grin the entire time!) Sometimes parties don't end up perfect in our minds but two my almost 5 year old who played until he couldn't anymore and to my 1 year old who went to everyone, walked anywhere he wanted and got in a little water time himself it was PERFECT! Yesterday we partied hard and watched two perfect little boys enjoy their day! Happy Birthday Connor and Avery we love you on so much!

Thanks to everyone who came out and sweated with us! It was so worth it to see the looks on their faces!

That Child

*Pre written in July, bare with me as I try to play catch up on the blog. :)

When we found out I was pregnant with our 3rd baby we we're a bundle of emotions. I was on a diet, had success in losing weight and was we'll on my way to gettin' my skinny on. Once the shock was gone we took it like any other pregnancy and started immediately buying gender neutral items, thinking of names and preparing the oldest two for a sibling. Connor was more excited than ever and couldn't keep his hands off my belly. Laynee was alittle unsure and wanted a baby sister so bad she could taste it! A couple weeks later we we're finding out the gender and naming our baby boy! The pregnancy seemed to fly by and with only a few bumps in the road we we're well on our way to baby #3 arrival.


Now that baby #3 is here I now more than anything else find myself saying Look at THAT CHILD! That Child is a mess! That Child is  at it again! That child is more active than Connor! Why who knows? But THAT CHILD has a part of my heart just like the other two and I can't imagine my life with out That Child! He's a mess and constantly being told no. Life is harder, busier and even more tiring since That Child arrived but we are so glad he's part of our life!


THAT CHILD is ONE today and I cannot imagine That Child being anyone else's but ours. No, he wasn't planned but hey two out of three of ours wasn't planned. He keeps everyone one on the edge of their seats because there is no telling what he might be into next.
